About the APS Femwork

The presence of women in scientific careers isn’t the new phenomenon the media would have us believe. The APSFemwork aims to celebrate the work of real women in science today.

Networks are vital when beginning a career, and so we aim to bring all students (not just female!) into contact with women with a real passion for what they do. We believe that hearing the truth about the interests and day-to-day working lives of women in science may ethuse and inspire students to pursue similar careers.
